No dense San Francisco fog during my visit.
 However, there was a consistent light mist in the air in the evenings and during the night.
Let me tell you, no amount of "anti-frizz serum" could combat that bay city air.
No matter, it was a memorable experience none the less. 

"When the lights go down in the city, and the sun shines on the bay....."
