My Everyday: Batting Cages and Pre-season clinics

There I stood, praying that my reflexes were faster than the softball hitting off that bat!

Lots of softball this past week.  Her team accomplished another 2nd place tournament finish! So far they are having a great indoor season.  I did not have my "big girl" camera at the tournament and my iphone skills are rudimentary.....(something I hope to improve on this year) but anywhoo....here they are.

The little guy is well underway with his preseason baseball clinics.  We enjoy watching him and his teammates grow in their skills each year. We are very thankful to all the coaches and dads who volunteer their time to teach these boys not only the skills but also the love for the game.

Happy Hitting,

  1. Oh you are "hitting" right at home with me with this post. My son played baseball all thru school, college, and minor league baseball. I am all TOO familiar with the perils of batting cages AND the joy of tournament ball games. Boy I miss those days. The work, the camraderie, the competition...maybe NOT the parents so much tho, haha. GREAT shots.

    1. Sometimes with the busy schedules and the divide and conquer that my husband and I must do we can forget home much fun this time is in their lives. Thankfully, we have been very fortunate with great TEAM parents. Which is a big bonus!

    1. Thank you! This is so true. Best to have captured the moment than not capturing it at all. I have to remind myself of that more often.
